Seoul Launches 'Green Way' Project

Now, they are less environment in the city such as parks. People used to live in the city more than countryside because there are a lot of facilities that provide in the city. In countryside, there are farms and plantations.


The greenway project by Seoul Metropolitan Government to turn some 100,000 sq m in Yongsan district into green areas. This project made to expand the green areas, and it needed to be done before 2016.

This is a good news for Seoul. I think this is a good idea to make a part of the city to be a green areas. I make us to remind that we all need environment such as trees, oxegen, and water.CLICK

Subways Stations to Have Breastfeeding Rooms by 2010

There are a lot subways in many countries around th world suck as Hong Kong, Thailand, and South Korea. There are many kind of people that used subways. Subways are public transoprtation that used a lot in any countries.

Subways in South Korea, there tried to have a breastfeeding rooms by 2010 because there were many people in subway and one of those were young mothers. Young mothers were not be able to feed their babies. They used to feed their babies in rest rooms, but now subway stations tried to build the breastfeeding rooms for young mothers.

Taxi Fares to Rise in June

Now, public transportation are quite simple for people that live in the city.Almost people knows how to use public transportation such as buses, taxies, and subway.

In South Korea, taxis are mostly common transportation for Korean.The fare of taxis will increase in June from w1,900 to w2,400 (1USD = w1,273) because of the oil prices. This increase of fare are never happen in last 5 years since 2005. In 2005, it are 18-percent increase of the taxis fare, but there are increase 13-percent in 2010. Now, Taxis are available to park their car in Palaces, parks, and museums during the weekend and holidays.

I think this make passengers to pay the fare more than what they should pay. I think it's fair for everyone because the taxis need to pay more in the price of oil. Pulic transportation are better way for all passenger because it's comfortable and cheaper than you have your own cars.CLICK

Korea’s 1st golf university to open in 2011

Now, there are many new programs that available in universities such as golf courses in South Korea's university. Many people see how the education is important.

Korea tried to open the new university that specially in golf. This university aim to produce the top golfer for the country. KGU, Korea Golf University, is going to open in 2011. This college provided three department of institute such as golf game teaching, goft industry business management, and golf course management. KGU produces these department of institute because they need more experts in golf industry.

This is an investment of education that will grow for the youngs. Now, teenagers have more chances to choose what they want to learn. In the past, they were only few of faculty in the college and less university. Today, these teenagers have more opportunities to choose what they are interested in. CLICK

Pyeongtaek to Expand English Education Facilities

Now, education is quiet important to the future of every childrens. English education is an important for the people in this era because we are connecting the world through the language. Moreover, English is the main language in the world. Alot of people communicated in English such as in the business and traveling.

In Gyeonggi province of South Korea, is trying to become a leader of in English language education. They try to improve the English education by building some new labs. They made the new labs for the poor and handicapped people for free. These labs were an opputunities for poor families that unable to pay the charge.

Japan to hand over Korean artifact in apology for occupation

This article is about the relationship between Korea and Japan. I choose this topic because the relationship between the countries is quite important.

Japan apologised Korea that they had brought the Korean historical artifact; a royal seal of the king. It had brought to Japan between 1910 and 1945 during colonial rules. Now, Japan dicided to return this Korea historical artifact back to Korea. Kan, prime minister of Japan, feel sorry for the colonization during that time.

10 South Koreans stranded in China after heavy rains

This article is about the environment in China that effect the Koreans. I thinks these kinds of situation were mostly happened in China. These situation were caused by global warming.

Ten South Koreans stuck in China because of the heavy rain. Now, these Koreans were safe by region of Xinjiang. The heavy rain had damaged the roads that link to the Kashgar airport. These Koreans planed to go home,but they counldn't go because of the damaged roads.

This topic shows that we need to worry about the global warming. Now, there are a lot natural disaster that cause by of global warming such as flood, hot in winter, and no rain in summer. We need to beware of these global warming effect. CLICK
